Arsenal dont want him, if we make a move we should be able to get him. Barca only want £3.5m

Roeder has said he wants proven premiership quality, but for £3.5m we could have one hell of a player, so what if he hasnt played premiership footy, Its deffinatly worth the risk!

The possibilities of new signings get smaller and smaller each day, i say take him if we can!

At 3.5Mil a 'Cheap Gamble' by Newcastle standards, compared to Viana, Robert, Luque, Anderson, G'uivarch etc. Get Him In!

I agree lets get him before someone else like Tottenham or Everton do. he is a class act and I am sure he wil do a great job for the toon.

Didn't set the world alight when on loan at Monaco and ill-suited to the English style of football in my view. Worse still, he has only scored less than half the goals Albert Luque did in his last season in the Spanish league!!
