Eagles set to swoop for Scowcroft

Striker James Scowcroft is set to move from Coventry to Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old is due for a medical in London on Monday before signing in a £500,000 contract with the Eagles.

The former Ipswich and Leicester man moved to Coventry at the start of last season and made 44 appearances for the Sky Blues, but only scored three goals.

Scowcroft found the net twice in his first six games at the Ricoh Arena but his return soon dried up with only one more goal, against Wolves, in January.
