Summer signing Eddie Johnson (ankle) will resume on the substitutes' bench after making a surprise appearance in the defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson hinted he may stick with the side that beat Scunthorpe 1-0 on the opening day.

City emerged from the game unscathed and Johnson is set to opt for the same squad, though keeper Chris Weale still has a knee ligament injury.
