Atletico Madrid have made a sensational 3.5 million bid for Real Madrid attacking midfielder Guti.

Hot on the heels of agreeing terms for Jose Manuel Jurado, ambitious Atletico have returned to their city rivals for Guti. Atletico coach Javier Aguirre is a big fan of Guti and sees him as a perfect foil for striker Fernando Torres.

Real are willing to sell, though met Atletico's approach with the answer that it will take £12 million to sign the Spain international, who has less than two years left on his contract.

Would Guti betray Real and join their bitter rivals?

3.5 million is ridiculous and I really don't think he wants to move, as he is the only passing midfielder we have so that gives him a lot of chances, although he won't play as a starter (midfield will be Diarra - Emerson).

Guti won't leave, at least to Atleti.
