Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello is ready to go back to former club Roma to strengthen his defence.

Capello has concerns over the height of his central defenders and also plans to move Sergio Ramos to right-back for the coming season.

The Italian met with Real sports director Predrag Mijatovic yesterday and they discussed adding a new centre-half to Capello's squad before the summer transfer window closes.

Capello is convinced he can prise a defender away from Roma, with Philippe Mexes, Cristian Chivu and Sammy Kuffour all being considered.

It is nonsense. Our defensive line is already completed so Pedja should focus on getting Diarra. However maybe Capello is worried about Woody's injuries...

I don't think Capello wants Woodgate in his squad at all....

Ramos was very impressive during the WC at right back. More importantly what will happen to Salgado?

Ramos must play as central denfender, and learn as much as he can from Cannavaro. As for all the right side, Capello has plenty of options there:
- Defensive: Salgado ----------- Beckham
- Offensive: Cicinho ----------- Beckahm
- A mixture: Salgado ----------- Cicinho

Salgado will be in the bench if Ramos goes to the right side. And Cicinho could be in the bench alot of minutes too. I've heard about signing Chivu or Mexes, but had no ieda about Kuffour. I hope they bring Chivu.
