Forward runs without the ball

Hello

I am currently doing a Level 2 coaching course in London. I have an exam coming up and my tipic is: Forward runs without the ball. It is a 6 v 6 game in an area of 60y x 40y.

Does anyone have any tips and advise for this topic?

Yes make sure you use the forwards and defenders.Have the forwards running across the defensive line.Defenders making overlap runs. This always works.Only coach 1 team and you try pick the guys that will work for and with you.Stand at the edge of the pitch then when you stop the game walk onto the pitch to explain things.Ask them plenty of questions. What should they have done? Why did it happen like that etc?Stop the play everytime you see something done wrong
Hope this helps

the key thing the assessors look for is that you understand your topic but also apply the coaching formula. Stop the game when needed, get in demonstrate, allow the players to recreate your demonstration, then get back out of there.

Also look to coach off the ball, if the team you are coaching is in possession of the ball in the oppositions half, make sure you get your keeper moving up the pitch rather than stuck on his goalline.

above all have confidence
