sure why not.what a match that would be.we perform against big teams.england struggle on pitches(eg,austria).i think we'd win.sorry

Obviously im biased but I agree with Paul, Ireland do well against big teams and England never seem to perform too well. It would be a close game but I think Ireland would have a good chance

I take it you are talking about the Rep of Ireland?

I think it would be a decent game, but I think England would come out on top. I think it could be a close game though.

Look back to Euro 96 - England v Scotland. Everyone said Scotland would be crushed, but it was a very close game, and I think this would be much the same.

yeah it would be a close game but please come on deep dwn u know england would win we are one of the best teams in the world for fcuk sake and would easily come out on top as they would up the bar against ireland because of the pride factor.

England suffer from delusions of granduer , where on earth do you get that from . We are 8th in the world and Rep of Ireland are 15th . That makes us fairly good i would assume and we would win against Ireland but not too easily.

England would probably win, but it would be a close game IMO (and I'm an England fan).

I hope they both qualify for the world cup anyway...

yep so do i.cant have a world cup without a England.they always think its there year but never happens

well it depened were the match was played if it was Lansdowne Ireland wud win definetly IMAGINE THE CROWD!!
