Newcastle United i do beleive have a chant away the lads. Can anyone tell me the full chant please?

Two newcoming Kendal Town fans who moved from Newcastle brought part off that chant to our minds and we would like our own version as an anthem.

Thanks Pete

Are you refering to Blaydon Races??
It's the Geordie anthem, and is heard a lot at SJP!
That starts like Howay that lads, or sometimes Oh Me Lads

Blaydon Races follows the same tune Wink
I usually sit in the Leazes End, and believe me Tom mate, there's more chants than that Laughing

I went to Blaydon races
Twas on the 9th of June
Eighteen Hundred and Sixty Two
On a summer's afternoon
I took the bus from Balmbras
And she was heavy laden
Away we went along Collingwood Street
To see the race at Blaydon

Oh me lads, you should've seen us gannin
Passing the folks along the road
And all of them were starin'
All the lads and lasses there
They all had smilin' faces
Gannin along the Scotswood Road
To see the Blaydon races

theres more but i cant remember.
The stand with the dugouts is the milburn stand were me dad sits, and me grandad and if i can get a hold of the season ticket were i sit.
