McQuilken home after heart scare |
|
Gretna defender Jamie McQuilken is recovering following a heart scare.
The 31-year-old complained of chest pains following Gretna's 1-1 draw with Livingston on Saturday in the Scottish Football League's Division One. He spent two days at Glasgow's Royal Infirmary having tests before being released on Monday. Gretna manager Rowan Alexander told The Sun: "Thankfully, everything isn't as serious as first thought and he's all right. Now he'll rest for a few weeks." The scare came just a week after Hamilton Academical teenager Ross McCabe's heart stopped during a First Division match against Clyde. |
