Reyes: I'll fight Beckham to the death for Real Madrid spot

Jose Reyes says he'll fight David Beckham "to the death" for a position in Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello's starting XI.

Reyes played on the right-side of midfield in Sunday's 2-0 win over Real Sociedad and scored before being replaced by Beckham, who in turn also struck.

"I do not know what will happen" said Reyes. "I believe that you will have to ask the trainer. David also has much quality, we all know him and I am not going to fight with him.

"The trainer is the one who decides and it is only necessary to fight to the death for the position in each training session."

He added: "On Sunday I had a debut dreamed by all players. Any player would have liked to have had a start like mine. It is very important because it gives great confidence to you."

Who would you rather started in the team, Becks or Reyes?

I'd put both of them. Reyes on the left and Becks on the right.
With Diarra and Robinho in the midfield (one defensive one offensive) and Raśl & Ruud up there.
But no more Emerson, please.

i happen to agree Raul , i cannot see why they are not both in the team as you have said .

Yeah. He's playing really bad. Slow and losing lots of easy balls.

Fabio is doing better. Has had both great and bad matches, but I like him as defender.
