7th June: Melita Digital Football Awards Best Female Player: Rebecca D'Agostino

11th June: Best Female Player for The Replay Gala Night (a program of sport in Malta) : Rebecca D'Agostino

Was really surprised with these, not that Reb's not good but was expecting Dorianne to take the awards or at least one of them. Confused

There's the last of three awards, the MFA (Malta Football Association) one. I don't know when it will be held though.

You're probably as surprised as I was when Unitt won the fans' award here Mr. Green
Of course we all know why Unitt won.

Thanks for these, Cookie Cool

Lol but Rebecca didn't win it for her looks Rolling Eyes It's because of the name, don't get me wrong, Reb's really good but this year Dorainne really deserved it she was above the rest, for Club and Country (Island)

Hopefully she'll get the next one Smile

You mean like Birgit Prinz who won FIFA Player of the Year just because she's Birgit Prinz? Twisted Evil

She used to be great but those times are gone, I can't believe they voted for her again,
it's probably because the players have no time to watch games, cos they play too Sad
So she won cos she used to be good. It's sad...

Just like that Agent Smith, it gets annoying year after year.

Yes it does and it gets me really upset but I think it's about time to start getting over it. Listening to what the media does won't do me any good eh:?

Hello again, sorry couldn't post a lot, was preparing for our Super Cup final we played last night, we won 3-0 Very Happy

HIBS WIN SUPER CUP
Hibernians won the Women's Super Cup when they beat rivals Birkirkara 3-0 in an entertaining match played at the new Luxol Stadium in front of a sizeable crowd.

After a balanced first half which ended goalless, Hibernians underlined their superiority on the resumption with well-taken goals scored by the experienced Dione Tonna and striker Ylenia Carabott (2) to win the Super Cup for the first time. Birkirkara had won the first edition of the Super Cup last season.

At the end of the match, MFA Vice President and Chairman of the Women's Football Committee, Mr John Farrugia presented the Trophy to the Hibernians skipper Tessie Agius.

Thanks a lot everyone Smile

And no Justme the Super Cup is just a trophy, like the Community Shield. It's played between the winner of the league and the Knock Out but since we won both last season, we had to play the runners-up. But we were happy to win it because last year we lost when we should have won, on penalties.

I was busy training and wasn't home much of time twmcat Smile

Thanks Smoogie Smile

Heh we don't get money for anything really, or at least that's what they tell us.
Our League starts this tuesday but we won't get to play until next tuesday, which sucks because we will only get to play every fortnight or so.

Yeah, well at least we're finding sponsors easier now a days. We've got our Nike kit so we don't really look that bad but still we have to buy everything else... football boots, shingaurds, strappings for our feet and other kinds of things. Let's hope something good happens in the near future Smile at least we're improving.

Thanks a lot Smile I'm sure everyone expect us to win the league again, but I hope and it should be, harder this year.
