Was really surprised with these, not that Reb's not good but was expecting Dorianne to take the awards or at least one of them.

There's the last of three awards, the MFA (Malta Football Association) one. I don't know when it will be held though.

Hello again, sorry couldn't post a lot, was preparing for our Super Cup final we played last night, we won 3-0

HIBS WIN SUPER CUP
Hibernians won the Women's Super Cup when they beat rivals Birkirkara 3-0 in an entertaining match played at the new Luxol Stadium in front of a sizeable crowd.

After a balanced first half which ended goalless, Hibernians underlined their superiority on the resumption with well-taken goals scored by the experienced Dione Tonna and striker Ylenia Carabott (2) to win the Super Cup for the first time. Birkirkara had won the first edition of the Super Cup last season.


At the end of the match, MFA Vice President and Chairman of the Women's Football Committee, Mr John Farrugia presented the Trophy to the Hibernians skipper Tessie Agius.

And no Justme the Super Cup is just a trophy, like the Community Shield. It's played between the winner of the league and the Knock Out but since we won both last season, we had to play the runners-up. But we were happy to win it because last year we lost when we should have won, on penalties.

Heh we don't get money for anything really, or at least that's what they tell us.
Our League starts this tuesday but we won't get to play until next tuesday, which sucks because we will only get to play every fortnight or so.

Shame, seems to be the same old thing everywhere ! Best of luck in the league mate

Yeah, well at least we're finding sponsors easier now a days. We've got our Nike kit so we don't really look that bad but still we have to buy everything else... football boots, shingaurds, strappings for our feet and other kinds of things. Let's hope something good happens in the near future at least we're improving.
