Huddersfield's outside play-off hopes have suffered a blow with the news that captain Jon Worthington will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The midfielder, 21 suffered cartilage damage in training earlier this week.
Terriers boss Peter Jackson explained: "When he pulled up after blocking a tackle I feared the worst.
"To lose your skipper is a real blow, particularly when he's been playing so well and at such a crucial time of the season," he told the club website.
