Zokora played exceptionally well tonight. Man of the match in my opinion. Great debut for Huddlestone, he played really well. Shame Keane didn't double our lead late on but a fantastic result nonetheless.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy YID ARMY!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Been hearing of stories from people there and apparently Yids owned the town, no trouble too which is good news. Local girl at match kindly obliged to the 'get your tits out' song (vid coming soon)

I hope we play the same midfield for the whole time Lennon i out, the Hudd and Zokora in the middle was immense!

Chimmy looks fantastic too, its like having another Ledley out there at fullback. Very Happy

Our defense is looking solid as a rock!

I agree, stick with the midfield. Davids should not be given his place back, he is an old man and Huddlestone showed him how it was done last night.

Tottenham will poo all over prague on thursday, they need to. I should hate Spurs but i really like Jol and i'd like to see you do well this year, or at least finish above utd and Arsenal. I also reckon you boys will go far in europe this year, when the balance gets sorted.

Lots of injuries for Spurs davids, salty, gardner, defoe, berbs, malbranque and lennon all OUT

Late fitness test for Kingy, injury not as bad as first thought, dont listen to Big Jono.

ps. For anyone going to the game, Yidomatt etc, know some guys who are gonna try to get this song going so if you hear them join in.

*** (to the obvious tune of God Save The Queen)

God Save Our Ledley King
Long Live Our Ledley King
God Save The King
Send Him Victorious
Happy And Glorious
Backed up by Michael Daws
God Save the King

Its a new one and meant to replace the one about him which includes Sol Campbell references, cos who really cares about that useless [beep!] anymore.

Well im off to bed, been sick all week so shouldnt do an allnighter to watch this game, will be great to see Spurs in the all-white strip of old European nights tho.

Come on you Spurs!

Oh and some team news for you guys. (ITK)

robbo,

chimbonda, dawson, davenport, ekotto,

jenas, zokora, murphy, ziegler or lee,

mido, keane

(the left sided players might swap with Ekotto further forward if its Lee that gets picked, will have to wait and see)

Didn't hear the chant BJ mate but I will listen out for it in coming matches.

Another crap performance from Spurs, but in the end we scraped through. I have no idea why they decided to start playing in the last 10 minutes, maybe they got bored of doing nothing Shocked

Mido doesn't look anything like the player he was last season; he seems to have lost some talent with that weight. Why Lee played we shall never know, and as for Murphy... all he did was get in people's way. Why Huddlestone is not playing beats me. Ziegler should not have started. You could see during the warm up he was not fit or sharp.

Oh well, life goes on and we're through and West Ham are out so happy days! Very Happy

Congratulations to Spurs!!

Slavia Prague weren't exactly threatening,Spurs made it difficult for themselves really and could have beaten Prague a lot more comfortably, but at least they are through to the group stages, that's the main thing

Yea the results the important thing, and another striker getting on the score sheet! Surprised

Got the group stages to look forward to now and its pretty hard to get knocked out of them I think, they only go from 40 teams down to 32 or something ridiculous lke that.
