i know we lost three but lets look at the positives

after the completed round of matches before the international break we will be a maximum of 6 points behind 1st place with another 31 matches left to play. and by my calculation & knowledge 93 points left to get and 8 months left of football. if you remember last season we didn't get off to a flyer of a start but we did go on a couple of undefeated runs during the middle and end of the season. last season in our first 7 games we had 9 points, this season we have 10

we have also been unlucky on many decisions in the league - Everton match poll had a few dodgy decisions, Chelsea match drogba's elbow and lampard's push in the penalty area, Bolton - the linesman & the faye late hit on kuyt which left his blonde hair dyed red for the first half. we have also hit the bar numerous times - against Everton, Chelsea, Tottenham, galatasaray & now Bolton

and the games we lost Chelsea away, Everton away & Bolton away. not bad to get 3 difficult games out of the way early on. lost all three but to get rid of them and still be only 6 points behind the 1st team is a pretty good start, not the best but still gives us hope

keep the faith i say. 6 points behind with difficult games against Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle, Tottenham, Bolton, West Ham out of the way. 5 top ten clubs from last season gone and the away leg of the local derby

I see where your coming from with it being a long season, But Everton and Bolton we should have had 6 points off, end of! Come the end of the season we will look back and think 'if only we would have won one more game'.

lol like Everton are going much better really.

same number of wins as Liverpool, yet to play Chelsea away (i guarantee an Everton loss) & only 3 points ahead of Liverpool. drawing with wigan, city & Newcastle isn't real form is it now?

i understand where your coming from oleoleole. We are only 6 points behind and getting some very hard games over with is a posative!

i just think if you look at the games we have lost and drawn (sheff utd) we should of had at least 10 points from those 4 games. we came out with 1 and no goals from open play.

i have no doubt we will start to turn things around, but it is quite worrying. Like last year we create so many chances but never finish them! 1 away goal all season is poor.

I also agree we have been very hard done by decsions this season. should og had quite a few pens, hit the post in each of last 7 games.

things will turn around, just have to be patient and put faith in raffa!!

I wasnt reffering to you son but, here's the bit you missed. Your saying losing none out of seven isnt form..... oh come on, even a red must surely know this isnt true lad.

got to say it is good to not lose in all your games so far! and for Everton that def is form. Maybe the point situation could be better though as its all very well and good not losing but if you draw every game you dont rely pick up many points.

e.g) just say you draw first 7 games = 7 points
just say you win 3 and lose 4 = 9 points.

but stil Everton are doing well. but we're not far behind and we're playing rubbish!

But we too have had our bad descisions/ bad luck in the games that we have drew, also it's not just for Everton that 7 games and no defeats is pretty good form matey Wink

agreed mate, never said it was just said was good for you. i would love to still be unbeaten now!
however, billy, you might have had quite a few decsions go against you, but you have had a fair few already fo towards you.

we should of had a pen V you and that pen V watford was never a pen!

You mean you HOPE you can look back at the end of the season and say that, but up to now you can only say "why are we playing rubbish (not worth swearing) all the time"

But why didn't you score then? I don't normally do this but at this moment in time i feel the Fozz in correct, Liverpool have more in them but at the Mo they are playing really well AJ is on fire Cahill is playing well. Moyes is getting it spot on. Credit where credit is due.
