West Ham were set to sign him last Summer, glad we didn't in the end, getting Ashton instead was a real blessing.

If you are trying to be funny you have failed miserably. And abuse is not welcome on this forum so if that's what you are going to do I suggest you leave. And for your information, chicken are quite smart Cool

adebayor is not that good in my opionion. He is clumsy, doesnt hold the ball up, (which is what he is apparently there for) and doesnt score enough goals. Has poor vision as well, there have been numerous occasions when he could of passed to Mr Henry (who wants to play for Liverpool Wink ) who was in a better position than him but went on his own, selfish!

Adebayor is an incosistent and frustrating to watch at times and has came into a lot of unnecessary stick by Arsenal and other teams fans. Yes Adebayor has a heavy/slow/poor first touch and is a poor finisher, however he very fast, strong and great in the air. Despite missing a few sitters his goal rate weren't bad last season especially considering it was his first season in england.

I would still take Adebayor over the older Crouch both did cost around 7m each.
