Everytime i go to an england womens match i hear wolf whistling, offensive and derogatory comments from fans around me, its perverted. Whenever i watch it at home, ile have a friend or a family member saying some disparaging and chauvenistic comment! am i alone or are there others who see this happening, or is this just general behaviour, am i being paranoid? or should i just stop being an arsey [beep!]???

no, i love to watch ladies football all the time but get critisised by my family and freinds, they call me pathetic, my brother also asks me why i go and see those 'nobodies'. every one has there own coments dont they. my brother hasnt evan seen a ladies game so i dont see why he or any one has the right to chritise women and the way they play,

I've heard the odd 'oooh wonder what the celebrations will be like?!' and of course the famous 'do you reckon they shower together?!'...a digusted look normally gives them the idea to shut it! Laughing Part from that just ignore it, if your content then don't let small minded people get to ya! Smile

There will, realtively speaking, be that type of person/people at a ground or even watching it with you, it will be the same for a long time until the sport grows Smile

I normally have no one around me at games , I must be stinking Laughing
That's why I do not hear all the stupid comments, I prefer listening to the Arsenal coaching staff :
between Vic, Emma and Mike they make me laugh during games.

Don't worry it's normal to shower on special occasions Laughing
I guess it is more interesting to listen to them! Hear all the inside gossip about the team Wink

Speaking of gossip I heard and saw a few things during the trip to Iceland.
It is funny how the squad is subdivised by group : the youngsters stay together the older one between themselves and leave the coaching staff alone.
You should have seen the mess when players were switching seat on the plane Laughing

I've heard the do they shower together , the usual sexist remarks and a lot more. I don't let it bother me , it just washes over me. There's no point letting the remarks ruining your enjoyment of the game. You can't get through to narrow minded people.
