Are the toon without a target man????? My point is, we have all of these wonderfully creative players who put magical crosses in, damien duff, solano, emre, the zog. But is there anyone there to head them in. Shola is alrite in the air, but still unsure at his complete goalscoring capabilites.
If big Al had stayed on 1 more year, he would have scored a hatful with so many creative players.
Should we have gone for James Beattie, once heralded the new shearer. Or could we have gone for lets say........John Hartson????500k For a player of his calabre is good.
