I can see Glenn and the Toon enduring a frosty winter if they dont sort themselves out.
After watching the full 90 minutes against Bolton it was clear to me what the problem was.
Only 2 thirds of our team actually performed really well! the attackers and the midfielders.
Ameobi was a constant pest, martins looked relatively lively. The midfields dominated Boltons.
The defenders thmeselves did not perform badly really for 50 minutes. Young Titus and Moore looked comfortable, but all it takes is that mad moment of abysmal defending that creeps into our defenders game.
We have always had poor defenders, the only difference is that we used to score so mnay goals, much more than we would concede. When we had Shearer, Beardsley, Ferdinand we didnt need to keep clean sheets! now we do, because we dont score that many.
If results dont pick up by Christmas i can see Roeder getting a piece of coal in his stocking from Sheperd. Why oh Why didnt we go for Martin O'Neill, surely he would have chosen us over Villa, no offence to any villa fans.

We have shown we can play, i think if we can get one or two good results we can be back on decent form for Jamuary. I hope!!
