Moore eyes Aussie ending |
|
Craig Moore is hoping to end his career in Australia when his contract with Newcastle United runs out next May.
The 30 year-old defender has been a key figure for The Magpies this season but has yet to receive an offer to extend his current deal. Moore has been linked with Queensland Roar in the past and although there has been no official contact between the two parties, he admits a move the club would be his preferred move. "This is my last year in Newcastle and if I don't hear anything by January then I'll definitely be leaving here. I need to make plans for going home or my next move," the Australia international said. "Going home is a possibility, if the package is right. I'd like to go to Queensland because that's where I'm looking to live. "Maybe they just expect that's where we'll end up. But if I know I'm leaving then I'll make calls to try and let people know." This would be a blow for Newcastle, as he is a great defender i think |
