Yeah he worths it, and we won't sell him. Only with the shirts/merchandising he sells, he has worthed it! Besides, he's a very good winger, we are happy with him! Very Happy

Beckham doesn't have anything to offer Real anymore, Capello has realized this. I like Beckham, he's a great player but Capello is a great manager and Real have proved they can get results without becks on the pitch so if i was a madrid fan i'd be happy either way, beckham or no beckham.

I think so, with the shirts, uniforms, commercials revenues. I think that what Real wanted, cash.
Plus, the real squad got to see more young girls than they usually did during their world tour. Laughing Laughing
But in football, he is a flop; no trophy, nuttin'.

Have to say tht i agree with you. I actually think he would have been a lot more useful at Man Utd.
His crosses will proved deadly. Not forgetting his wonderful freekicks !!

First he was linked with Barcelona. That was probably the reason why Real was interested into him, because at that time, Real did have Zidane, Figo and Makelele.
Had beckham chosen Barcelona, Ronaldinho would go to Manc Utd, so barcelona fans gotta thanks Real Madrid for that Razz
Plus Beckham arrival made them leave the best holding midfielder ( Makelele ) and the best striker (Etoo) in the world. Result: 2 consecutive spain championships and one CL title for us.
I agree with you, Beckham should have stayed in Manc Utd.

I can smell ignorance over here... hehehe

First - Becks has raised one trophy with us. Supercup.

Second - Do you people really think Real signed him if he wasn't a good footballer?

And third - I'm not gonna say he's better in Real than in Utd, but he has been the best assistancer (or whatever it is said in english) in La Liga, he has scored beautiful freekicks and he has done things he has never done in England: work very hard in defense and blame the rivals Laughing

Oh, and fourth - What has to do Becks with the exit of Eto'o? Shocked

And the last thing, I promise: Real was interested in Beckham before than Barcelona was!!!

Supercup
Well, I guess a trophy is a trophy.

I dont know if you would sign him if he wasnt a good player, but I am sure that you didnt sign him because you needed him to boost your squad. Financial motives were a huge part of his signing.

As for the Eto'o thing, I am not very sure. But I thought you let him go, because Real was full of stars.

Well Eto'o was at Real Mallorca for two seasons, plus Real technically sold him although they still had some share in him.

Beckham has made 100 appearances for Real in 2-3 seasons so yea i think Real bought him too play football.

Yeah, I know. He even gave Mallorca the spanish cup. He handled Mallorca alone. I am wondering how Real failed to recognize his qualities.

They had to sell those goods.
And no one would buy a shirt of a bench warmer. Now that his shirts are not selling anymore, he is warming the bench Laughing Laughing Isn't he?
Weren't that Real ex-president bragging that they will got back beckham transfer money with his shirts sales? Rolling Eyes

If a bench warmers shirts do sell, I am sure that Real will try to sign Antonio Banderas Laughing Laughing

David Beckham is not the kind of player who would like to just lay his bottom on the bench !!
He wants to play football . He is kicked out of the England squad..i think he will have to get out of
the group of stars at the Bernabau Stadium. Better if he manage to find a team where he can spark and
play first team football. Then , Mclaren might get interested again !!

What stars are you talking about? Becks is going nowhere.

Afrinux, although you know I respect you so much, I can't agree at all with your words. Your theory of the conspiration against Beckham is not serious. I bought his shirt the year after we signed him, and I did because he's one of my fav players. As I said, he gives 100% of himself and He proved he wasn't signed to sell shirts. But, if he also has the ability of being handsome and sell extra shirts, what's the problem? Are you jealous because all the Barcelona players are ugly? Laughing

And Antonio Banderas has admitted several times he's a Real Madrid supporter Mr. Green Antonio is just the best! (along with Raśl and Fernando Alonso, of course) Laughing

First time to really think about it, and I realize that only one player is good looking: Rafael Marquez. Sad

Raul, did I ever mention to you that I was supporting England during the world cup 2002?
And if you do remember one of the brazil goals, when Ronaldinho swept the all midfield and set up Rivaldo.
Beckham avoided the ball to save his butt, and Ronaldinho collected it. That was the moment I felt in love with Ronaldinho, and started to dislike Becks(as a player. I like him very much as a person). I still have his England uniform though Embarassed

LOL, had no idea about your England love in 2002 Razz
That goal was amazing, but Becks wasn't the only guilty I think. Seaman did his part too Laughing

How can you hold something so trivial that happend 4 years ago against Beckham for such a long time?

He wasn't the first and won't be the last to do something like that. Ronaldinho doesn't chase back everytime he does something wrong? and how often does Ronaldinho step forward and stand in the Barca wall against a freekick?

Beckham got the most assists in la liga last season..

surely he was not the reason for Real Madrid's downfall..

but i guess Capello's system doesnt suit Beckham's way of player..

a change of club will be the best for him imo..

Beckham worth it for Real Madrid ?
