Who do you think???
Bruce Grobbelaar... for just being such an amazing keeper?
Luis Garcia..... for his moments of magic and vital goals?
Xabi Alonso.... For his vision, amazing goals?
Vlad Smicer.... Simply for istanbul?
Dudek.... same as above?

How about the worse hahaha Laughing

Plenty from Houllier's era here. I would say Diouf. Diouf might be more skilful than Diao or the young ones like Pongolle and Le Tallec but he was always in trouble with the press and is such an idiot!

Glad to have gotten rid of him. Can't believe he wore the legendary no.9 for us.

There all good players but the REAL reason why we won in istanbul and just an all round servent to the club is DIDI Hamman.

Underrated and came on and kept Ricky KAKA quiet. scored some amazin goals a real shame we lost him

Xabi Alonso is another wonderful talent but is not playing well at da mo... momo Sisoko is quality aswell. Steve Finnan is sick as well
Jan Molby too.
but My Fav is DIDI.

Jerzy Dudek (Istanbul double save from Shevchenko & Penalty Saves)
John Arne Riise (Astonishing goals, that free kick against Manure United Very Happy )
Sami Hyypia (Just all round great defender)
Didi Hamann (Changing the tempo of games i thought we'd lose and scoring spectacular goals, he didn't get many but when he did OMG!!!
Luis Garcia (All the goals in the 2004/2005 Champions League)
Xabi Alonso (Vision, Passing ability and setting up important goals)
Dirk Kuyt (Deffinetly going to be a legend if he stays long enough, quality player)

Yeekiat the worst players are nearly every player Gerard Houllier bought.

Sander Westerveld - Not bad for a bit but could never catch a cross and made stupid mistakes

Emile Heskey - Paid £11,000,000 and he couldn't score to save his life

Vegard Heggem - Saw him once and he scored against Bradford but never thought he was anything
special

Rigobert Song - OMG with a reputation as Cameroons best player at the time he was appauling never felt comfortable when he was on the field

Bruno Cheyrou - Can only remember one goal and that was against Chelsea, never thought he'd be a hit

Salif Diao - Too clumsy, bit of a temper. not a Liverpool player

El Hadji Diouf - The biggest waste of space and £10,000,000 i've ever known

Alou Diarra - Never even played a 1st team game

Djibril Cisse - Bought by Houllier before he left and to be honest was a flop at £14,000,000 couldn't score one-on-one with the keeper and always went for power over placement dreadful player.

Erik Meijer - German International and yet i never even saw him in a sqaud sheet

Vladimir Smicer - Blew hot and cold all the way through his Anfield career and never knew which smicer you'd get the great attack minded one taking players on or the sluggish, lazy and give the ball away Smicer. (btw he made up for it in Istanbul)

Milan Baros - Didn't score enough for me and always looked down when he was running. why?

Anthony Le Tallec - Came with a repuatation as being the next big thing from France and really disappointed

Florent Sinama Pongolle - I thought he was alot better than Le Tallec and yet Houllier rarely picked him.
Never done enough for me.

Titi Camara - Good player in some of his games but he was getting on when we 1st got him.

Gregory Vignal - Too easy to beat down the left and never got back to defend

Bernard Diomede - French World Cup winner and yet couldn't get in the 1st team. Glad he was Free otherwise that would of been money down the drain.

Abel Xavier - Again too easy to beat and what was with the blonde hair?

Frode Kippe - Remember his name but never saw him play, so he can't of been that good.

Bjorn Tore Kvarme - Remember his name but never saw him play, so he can't of been that good.

Sean Dundee - Signed by Roy Evans, a South African international who claimed he was as good as Michael Owen but only played 5 1st team games and they were subsitute appearances, he was sold 3 months after being bought.

Pegguy Arphexad - Won 5 medals with Liverpool but never played in any big games.
