We all know that the situation at NUFC is a complex one; poor managers, poor leadership, signing the wrong players and, sometimes letting the wrong one's go (are Emre, Duff, Dyer N'Zogbia, Nobby the second time around, Milner and Butt really better than even a lazy Robert - crossing statistics, and the lack of goals from crosses since his departure imply not but that's another tale.....and ok Shola and Martins arent as good as Shearer in the air). But what of the coaching at the club? Not just now but say over the last 10 years. Have we really seen many of the younger players, either home grown or bought in, get better? I'd cite Jenas as an obvious example. I suspose that coaching isnt an important issue if you can buy in the mega superstars who are gifted beyond words - then again, we cant can we?
