good player but not worth the transfer fee. not the answer to fill the gap left by Roy Keane

Who has said that he is the answer to fill the gap for Roy Keane? I believe that Hargreaves is being lined up for that. Carrick is in no way Keane's replacement. Yes he isn't worth £17million but we wanted him and Spurs didn't want to let go. I believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad for years to come and when Hargreaves arrives we will have one hell of a midfield.

I think he is a great signing for United, is still young and has room too improve and could prove to be a huge success at Old Trafford for years too come.

i never said he wasnt good, i rate him and think he is a good player. I also agree that he will be a good player for you in years to come.

however, i would of maybe put more effort into getting Hargreaves at the moment that Carrick as you already have good creative players that can do what carrick does.

i hope Hargraeves dosent go to you though cos think he will be a very good signing!

I agree, we need to just cement the Hargreaves deal because if anyone gets in and nabs him it will be catastrophic! For me he is the key player that we need for our squad. Have to wait til next summer though which is shite!

you may get him in jan if there is a slight chance of getting him at xmas im sure fergie will take it. i no he cant play in europebut the league is still no.1 priority so if he things Owen H will help u win the league i reckon he will try get him at xmas.

Well he isn't out for too long, only 6-8 weeks. Could be good because he could lose his place or become out of favour and then move to us in January

i think carrick will improve at united but we still havent found the replacement for keane maybe scott parker or kevin nolan will be perfect for that.

great player TOOOO expensive...Man Utd did get ripped of a bit with the price but at the moemtn think he has settled in well bit of dodgy start but however settling in nicely

If we get Hargreaves he will no longer be guaranteed a place in the starting lineup. This this will be good for him as he seems to want to succeed, just seems a bit lazy and needs a bit of a push imo. One for the future, although not quite good enough at the moment.
