For a long time Robbo has been untouchable and beyond criticism for many Spurs fans but my patience is starting to wear thin with him.

Against Reading he was once again beaten from range by a shot he should have stopped. Agree it was a great strike and a tough one but a truly world great keeper as we are led to believe Robbo is should have got a hand to it and put it round the post. The Campo goal earlier this season springs to mind too as well as Riise, Barry, Bruges lad, Makelele.....

His positioning of late has been poor and he doesnt command his box like he used to, maybe he is lacking confidence and form, i dunno. (The second Reading goal should be bread and butter for him, coming out to claim that ball, it was only hit in from 3 yards in the end) But i do know he is a lot better than he is playing at the moment, maybe its time he had a rest on the bench to buck his ideas up a bit.

Actually a rest is probably exactly what he doesnt need, he needs to get off the couch and go for a boody run! Hes carrying way too much weight around his torso and his legs look like a chubby ginger kids!

I been thinking exactly the same of late matey and I can't really add much to what you've already said. He's certainly not in the kind of form that he was a season or two ago and I've recently been finding it increasingly difficult to defend him.

Should we drop him? Can we drop him? Do we need a totally fresh keeper or is that being too hasty?

There is no doubt in my mind that on his day, Paul Robinson is the best goalkeeper in the world.

Maybe he is having family problem's at the moment, I don't know, but he hasn't been the same since the World Cup.

I think he needs to be dropped for about 4 or 5 games and put on a fasttrack fitness regime.

Cerny is a good solid keeper, claims crosses, can get down to long shots without his chubby legs getting in the way and hasnt forgotten the importance of positioning.

That's not completely true mate. Some players are on fire (Lennon, Rooney, A.Cole, Gerrard is starting up, etc..)
