My name is Ben and I am a Manu Fan along with my 7 year old son, George. My wife, bless her, is fed up with hearing me wittering on about football so am joining this forum to chat to others about what I love. FOOTBALL!!! I am soooo disappointed that My sons hero, Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney was sent off for clapping. What is that all about? Yes it was a silly thing to do, but nobody got hurt and he is young and was probably frustrated. I hope he turns this around though as I have just pre ordered George a Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney Action Figure for Christmas from Footieshop. Kids are very fickle and don't fancy using it as a doorstop! Come on Mr Rooney do what we know you do well, play greatt football.

hi ben , welcome to the forum. Hope to hear from you on the forum soon. The action figure of Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney you ordered for your son , does it come with a button in his back that makes him clap his hands when pressed.

Ha ha conner 99. That did make me chuckle. my boy seems to have gone off Wayne now so looks like it might end up as a doorstop! Maybe when he claps, the door will automatically close. Now there's a marketing thought.........

On the Rooney doll, I wouldn't worry about it clapping (per Conner) or not, my concern is that it is not a 'talking' action figure....What comes from his mouth may be a bit embarassing......

Great introduction. First of all, congratulations on bringing your son up to support such a superb team. You must be a great dad

Secondly, you do not have to worry about Rooney, he will calm down in time. I remember David Beckam being a big of a hot head - but he matured (well sort of) lol. There were question marks over his head, especially THAT moment in the World Cup.
