£600 million
Yeah, perhaps only Abramovich |

The company is Sogecable, from Spain. And it's not the most important contract in the history of world-wide sport. Barça signed a similar contract with another spanish company, called Mediapro.
What I have heard on a spanish radio is that Madrid have signed a contract of 1000m euros for the next 7 years. And this is the same contract that Barça signed, still that was with a different company. |

Barça one were 800mill euros, due to Marca newspaper
And the owner of Sogecable is named "Jesús Polanco". Could perfectly be one of the 5 richest man living in Spain nowadays (and spanish I mean) |

According the spanish radio La Cope (that is a radio where almost all the people are Madrid fans), Real Madrid's president is a lier because one day he says that the contract are 800 m euros for 7 years and tomorrow says that are 1000 m euros. And because he says that will be the best contract in the history of world-wide sport when the reality is that there are USA teams that have to have a better contract because the amount of money of spanish medias compared to USA medias is nothing. And because he said 2 days ago that Roberto Carlos had signed a new contract and Roberto Carlos hadn't signed,........
He says a lot of lies because the reality is that he knows that won't be the Madrid's president during a lot of time due to problems with the elections from last summer. It's all what La Cope says. |

But he never said it's the biggest contract on the sportive world, just on football (soccer for the americans). And Roberto Carlos has "dealt" a contract with Real, it wasn't signed yet when he said it, that is true.
