Sunderland chief executive Peter Walker has defended the 10% rise in season ticket prices saying they will be cheap by Premiership standards.
Walker said: "We're trying to create a balance between affordable football and giving the club the best possible chance of competing in the Premiership. "We are always mindful of the financial constraints of fans and we believe our pricing structure is fair. "Our prices are significantly cheaper compared with most Premiership clubs." |
