If you had to compile a 15-man squad (fantasy league style) for La Liga and could spend as much money as you wanted, which players would you choose?

Pick 2 goalies, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, and 3 strikers please. Which formation would you put them in?

GO!

Good to see Xavi being first choice in the teams here. I think he's usually a very underrated player. One of the more consistent & talented players in the Barca set-up, but because of his simplistic & quiet performances he doesn't get the credit.

He does get the credit otherwise, why do you think he is always chosen ahead of Iniesta.

Good to see some teams here where the starting 11 are all barca players Razz

No - when Ronaldinho does nothing for 90% of a game, yet pops up and scores the winning goal, he is a God. Meanwhile in the same game Xavi would be immense for 90% of the game, yet will never get deserved credit.

I think he's a super player.

C'mon Raul be fair. How can you leave out Zambrotta and have R Carlos, and leave out Deco for Joaquin Rolling Eyes And worse I don't see Eto'o and Messi in your list.

I guess the usual sam miguels are doing their job Razz

Have you seen Zambrotta playing this year?? He's been terrible!!!
And Joaquin is far better than Deco.
Oh, and I don't like injured players like Eto'o or Messi (besides, Messi is not as good as you all think)

As often happens, players after world cup arent performing like they did before...so i agree zambrotta isnt performing that well (neither cannavaro) but a dream team is a dream team i cant compare them to anyone else in spain by far...

just i'm not that informed in thuram performances...

from the spanish side, i particularly estimate joaquin and morientes (he scores always and all ways)

can anyone tell me what's happened to super-depor? they were habitueè of the Champions League last years and now they're disappeared...

Nice one J-Axe but... Instead of Emerson I'd pick Deco. I think he can addopt on a DM position, Sergio Ramos on the right instead of Thuram and Torres instead of Morientes.

Are you sure you want Cannavaro and Puyol playing side by side at CB. That's a really short defence right there.
