Hodgson near to signing new deal
Hodgson is in his third spell as manager at the club
Darlington boss David Hodgson is close to signing a long-term contract.
Hodgson, who has revived the club's fortunes since taking over for a third time in November, 2003, has opened talks about a new deal.
"I have a rolling contract and the chairman has already asked me if I'm prepared to commit longer," Hodgson told the Northern Echo.
"If the players and everybody else here shares the same ambition as me, I will be happy to sign on the dotted line."
