Hi - im currently coaching u6 & u7 at a soccer school but I'm starting to dislike it. The kids dont really want to be there, the exercises we coach are boring and we're not allowed to do anything other than the schools curriculum. I have a good knowledge of football tactics and would love to be in a club.

What advice could anyone give me who may have been in this situation? Alot of the time im parenting not coaching

Get yourself to a local team TODAY!
I worked for a company called Enjoyaball which catered for a lot of children of the 3-9 age bracket - however most were 6 and under. It is tedious, it is a creche, and it is hard to see rewards or development. I think it helped me with my football coaching though.
This is my 6th season in charge of my squad and I can honestly say it is the first season where I've had a full squad of players who are genuinely interested in football.

The good thing is that you are coaching at least, unlike others who just look at the badges and think that is the route.

Ring a local team, visit, get involved, do it today.
