Davids Back in for Dutch.....

Coach Marco van Basten recalled Tottenham midfielder Edgar Davids on Friday to his 23-man squad for the Netherlands' final two World Cup qualifiers next month.

David's last international appearance was in a 3-1 win over Finland in October 2004. The 32-year-old has just overcome a groin injury which had sidelined him from Tottenham's lineup.

this is why he left Italy, to get playing time to get one last chance at playing in a World Cup, and it has at least gotten him a spot in a WCQer........

Yesss! Well done Davids, it was a gutsy move to come to Spurs but he has played his heart out for us and it looks like hes gonna get his reward.
