Marta stays in Umeå, it's official.

LFC were cast aside yesterday, and this morning Marta's agent commented to local newspaper that the reason for Marta declining LFC:s offer was because she wanted to stay with Umeå, and now the club has confirmed. VW will also remain as main sponsors to the club, so that's great.

Looks like danish Katrine Pedersen has decided to move to norway, to sign with Asker. Lise Klaveness former club Cool If I remember it correctly, they were degraded because of their financial situation, so I'm guessing they managed to get back to the first league.

If I was Elaine I would have told UIK where to go! They didnt want her before but now that they have lost players they want her back...pff I would have said; 'go stick that Volkswagen where the sun dont shine', UIK wouldnt have thought twice about Elaine again if Makinen didnt leave or they signed Stensland.

No hard feelings between UIK and Elaine. If she stay healthy this year I'm sure she will be as good as she was in 2005. She will take care of any "problems" on the midfield. A tough player Cool
UIK still needs a lot of players, some of the bench-warmers have gone to other clubs now, so they need to fill it. Plus Moström signature would be nice to have Cool

Me too! How the ---- did Arnqvist figure when he said she wouldn't be offered a new contract?!? Before the season had even ended, no less. He must realize he jinxed Umeå IK that way. Thank God Elaine is so forgiving...

She is rock hard. A joy to watch, and she can play accurate long balls, not quite the way Mäkinen does, but still very very good.
