Best place(s) to look for full time coaching jobs in the UK?

It would depend on how qualified you are!

If you have UEFA 'B' or better then I would say contact any professional club and also your Local FA to see if they can help you!

If you have Level1/2 then perhaps (as I did) try a foreign based company, I worked for Challenger in Texas for a few summers and had the time of my life!

thanks for the tip - ive done the USA thing but cant afford to spend anymore time abroad - god damn girlfriend!! lol im looking to do my ueaf B, have my C badge at moment.

maybe a silly question but you never know - are there areas in england that are better for getting coaching jobs than others??

what sort of coaching job are you looking for? Community, Academy, Non-League, Pro?
Do you want to work with youth or adults, male or female?

well i would imagine i would have to start community but would love to work with academies at any level, youths or adults and both sexes - i enjoy coaching all. however prob not younger than 9-10 yr old. did plenty of coaching under that age group in USA. its great fun bu the standard was not great but i suppose thats part and parcel of coaching!! lol

almost all pro clubs have a football in the community scheme and most are crying out for qualified coaches, especially if you are Level 2 qualified. Get in contact with your local pro team or even non-league side about any coaching vacancies.

thanks for the info! well when i know which part of england i will be moving to ill give them a ring - is the community coaching paid or is it voluntary?? whats sort of hours is it generally. i know this can vary but just as a guide...

i used to be a football in the community coach at Bradford City FC.
I started out as voluntary unpaid.They then paid for my Level 2 and I started getting £12 a session after that.
Community is ok but the full time guys only get £12 k per annum and usually a car which is not a lot.The main wage is made up of other coaching work outside of the club.I did Vixens,Bradford Uni,Guisley Ladies.All those where paid plus I ran a saturday club in the local park which earnt me and my mate about £40 each for the hour.Depends how much you want to earn I suppose.I hope that helps
