Another fine away performance from the magpies that sees us climb away from the dreaded relegation zone, and into the breaches of the top half...a few more points would see us enter the top ten, although its gonna be hard to get three points out of our next game....away at Chelsea, i guess with all the Mancs behind us that will give us something extra.

Obafemi Martins got some stick early on this season, but we can see he is finally starting to justify his price tag, his goals record at the moment aint too bad, i have a feeling he will forge a deadly partnership with Antoine our hero Sibierski.

My prediction-finish 6th-a superb end to the campaign for the toon, getting into the winning mood after new year, with the intro of a couple of new players, and the possible return of Micky owen.

We must prove that we are a bigger club than Tottenham this season. Not only in the Premiership, but also in Europe, and in the english cups.

And how many goals have Martins and Sibierski scored for us now? They are doing great! Just great. And Forrest Gump have also scored some goals.

He got that nick after the Celta Vigo-game, where he ran down the whole pitch to celebrate his goal.

A much better performance from everyone and I was very impressed with Martins; he could have had another couple of goals if he wasn’t rugby-tackled by Henchoz and he was wide open for a cut-back from Milner if he hadn’t taken the shot on himself as well.
More injuries to Emre, Sib and Sol, this is getting ridiculous! They’re going to have to build an extension onto the treatment room!

Why finish above Tottenham? Who cares about Tottenham that guy earlier it shoiws how far we have gone back when people say we should aim to finish above Spurs. I reckon we will kick on and there is no reason why we cannot challenge for 4th or 5th. Hway the lads.

Because I have been betting a lot of money on that with a friend of mine, who is a Spurs-fan.

i just want to say a massive shout out to oba martins, the guy has bottle and totally deserved his goals yesterday, he is putting a tremendous amount of effort in to games and passion and it just shows the results due to this, he really wants to do well and for a lad who has no association to the team or the city and to be having the guts to be producing the effort which us the fans respect is a big up to him, i mean we have had players who has obvious talent but lacked the heart, albert luque, patrick kluivert, laurent robert and hugo viana to name a few but you can tell martins is getting used to what the supporters want, the understanding he has with his team mates and the passion and effort to go along with that, this also reflects well with roeder who has obvious helped him along, all we hope is that he keeps it up because his performances lately have been very good. also steven taylor yesterday i thought was magnificent, let the defence at the age of 20 with great leadership skills, always making important tackles and was witnessed alot helping huntington out, also one of his runs up to watford half showed the miturity taylor is producing, having a very good season, it was a disgrace not to see babayaro help out the back 4 verbally and encourage them, i mean taylor was telling him what to do, the man hasnt a clue im sorry and was dreadful again yesterday, for a man who is over the age of 30 to be by far the worst defender out the 4 was quite embarrasing, also one other thing ramage please sort your passing out, your fast reminding me off robbie elliott, give it his all, does alot of things steady enough but distribution off the ball pretty awful

Well you know Pconway 11 I want to hear your own view on Newcastle, not a cut and paste of someone elses views.

Can we ban this guy or something? It's pretty sad that he has to steal other people's posts.
