Im wondering what teams will be fielded for this game, so I'll reserve my judgement untill then. Here's the thread anyway.

I'll have a stab in the dark at guessing our line-up..

--------------Almunia
Hoyte, Djourou, Senderos, Traoré
Walcott, Denílson, Baptista, van Persie
---------Adebayor, Aliadičre

If Rosický is back in time, he might start on the left. Possibly Flamini playing in Denílson's role also. I'm not sure really, just a guess. Wenger could start more first team players for all I know - but I doubt that.

Lauren is back too, which is great to see. I doubt he'll be fit or strong enough to face Liverpool, but he did play in a friendly recently for us. Smile

I don't care what team we play as long as we are in the draw for the semi finals

I can definitely see plenty of reserves on show though, and we all know Robbie Fowler's favourite team to score against don't we Wink

Rosický will be starting against Liverpool in this game. So he'll more than likely come in on the left of midfield, excluding van Persie from my predicted first eleven. Smile

Great news. If Rosický uses this game well, he can be fit for First team action over the heavy Xmas period.

Henry might be back for the FA Cup tie against Liverpool.

its live on Sky Sports so that is good news , we need a win to keep the confidence up after the dissapointing draw against Portsmouth , i am not sure if he will play Adebayor at all as i imagine Wenger will want to save him for the christmas and new year games . I hope he does play Rosicky though as it would be good for him to get some action after his injury .

It looks like we'll be at full strength, Rafa fears the Arsenal youngsters and says they are more experienced than ours.

Due to heavy fog at Anfield, a pitch inspection has been called for 6.15pm ahead of tonight's game Sad

It's pretty bad here about 18 miles from Anfield, I cant see it shifting really. I wonder when the replay will be? We might come across some sort of fixture pile up.

Well at least it gives you even more time to prepare for the big game!

Rafa and Wenger have both declared themselves unhappy with referee Martin Atkinson's decision to call off, Here's what they said

Quote:
"In the opinions of myself and Arsene, it was possible to play this game," said Benitez.

"We must respect the referee's decision but we don't agree with it. In these conditions we could have played. The referee said to us that he had difficulty seeing both corners of the pitch and that it could be difficult for his assistants.

"A lot of people were looking forward to this game and it's really difficult to explain why it was called off.

"We have a problem now because if we draw against Arsenal in the FA Cup then when are we going to play this game? Maybe we can play for both Cups in one game!"

Wenger said

Quote:
"I'm disappointed because we wanted to play and so did Liverpool.

"Unfortunately we weren't able to influence the decision of the referee, even though we tried."

Tis a pity. Would have rather played in pure fog in a Cup game, rather than have our fixture list congested even more in the most difficult part of the season.

Crouch would have played, and he wouldn't have been able to see the ground, so we'd have been safe at the back.

but he would have had an advantage with any high balls coming into the box , being able to see above the fog and all that ... Smile

Haha. That would be funny as hell. Imagining him keeping it up above the fog from defence to attack with his head.

Then again we all know what a good header of the ball he is. Rolling Eyes

Did you hear about the Notts County keeper who went out on to the pitch and the game was called off but he couldn't see a thing a thought Notts were really attackive so he stayed out all the second half without a clue it'd been cancelled
