thought we had a chance to get something from the game when dyer scored but after that dreadful equalizer Bolton went from strength to strength. Feel a little sorry for ramage as I think overall defensively him and taylor have been superb together especially with the added presure of having to cover for two young inexperienced fullbacks who basically offered little offensively and struggled to cope when dioff and anelka went wide. Butt got through a tremendous amount of work but offensively in the second half we struggled to make anything happen. Sorry pav but krul needs to start the Everton game if given is out and in jan we are in desperate need of one 5-6 mill striker with the rest of the kitty spent on two new fullbacks and a centre half. Sorry but im not sharing peoples enthusiasm re:young huntingdon. Just dont see the potential even if he is playing out of position, to me he's slow, doesnt head particularly well and offers nothing going forward. Needs a season long loan to a championship team to see if he,ll make the grade.

I think we need some defenders. Taylor is good, we keep him, but buy some others. Ramage was a bad mistake, reminded me of O'Brien, when he scored far to many against us.
No strikers though, we have good strikers. Bolton are a good side and away from home it wasn't too bad I suppose. I wasn't too bothered by the defeat, after the good run we have had. I hope we get a good result v's Man Utd. |
