Sevilla coach Ramos sad to see back of 2006 |
|
Sevilla coach Juande Ramos admits he doesn't want 2006 to end.
The year 2006 has been a miracle year for the Andalusians who won the UEFA Cup and the European Super Cup and will start 2007 at the top of the Primera Liga. Ramos told marca.es: "It's a pity that 2006 is ending. The calendar year is ending but the season is continuing and we must carry on the same way and not consider anything to be over. "We have been the best team but we can not live on memories. We know what it's like to celebrate and want to do so again." Asked about his team's chances of winning the Liga, he said: "I won't say we will win the Liga but also I won't say we won't. We must think only of the next game rather than thinking beyond that." It has been an ammazing season for Sevilla, a really impressive team i must admit. They play some stunning football at times and appear to have such a good team spirit. I hope they manage to sustain their title bid, making for an exciting climax to La Liga in the next half of the season. |

It would be great not only for Sevilla but for Spanish football if they were to win the league. Bring some excitement back into it.
Is Freddie Kanoute still there? |
