Nottingham Forest chief executive Mark Arthur says the squad will be totally overhauled in a bid to return to the Championship at the first attempt.
Forest dropped down to the third tier of English football for the first time in 54 years after a 2-1 defeat at QPR.

And Arthur told BBC Radio Five Live: "We've got to make wholesale changes.

"We have used 36 players this season and even the players who played against QPR will not be good enough to challenge in League One next year."

There was certainly bad management at the start of the season

Forest fans have blamed Joe Kinnear for their current predicament and Arthur also took a swipe at the former manager, who left last December.

"We haven't attracted the right players, we haven't had enough discipline and we weren't fit enoguh at the start of the season," he added.

"There was certainly bad management at the start of the season and you can't lay any blame at the current manager.

"Gary Megson came in with 18 league games to go. He has tried his level best to turn it around but has been frustrated by what he has found in the dressing room."
