Hugely disappointing.

Bolton defended well and we played quite poorly. Clichy, Touré & Cesc were the better performers on the day. Adebayor faded in the 2nd half & Rosický was hot & cold throughout.

Walcott was poor again and Henry couldn't get any real service.

Bolton played good football on their way to the opening goal & credit to them. Going to the Reebok will be extremely difficult because our bogey team will love it - replayed on Valentine's Day. Smile

yeah have to agree with that J-Axe , poor marking for the Bolton goal , we should have been on to Nolan quicker ..

I just wish that back heel by Henry had made it over the line ...would have been talked about for quite some time .. Smile I suppose we should be happy with the draw , it will be even tougher at the Reebok though , i hope we can find a way to get past Bolton and go through .

I'm glad that Bolton didn't become the first away side to win at the Emirates.

We must lay this Bolton bogey thing - must beat them sometime soon.
As my jinx seems to have gone, maybe I should go to the Reebok on Valentine's day Wink

i think the replay is one of the best thin gs that couldve happened, figure we'll have a rested cesc and i think we need gilberto to beat a team like Bolton, winning at reebok will give them the boost they need to win the cup as well

Not only do we need to be strong at the Reebok and we'll need to pray that no extra injuries happen.

This extra game will end up being a pain in the ass, especially with the amount of injuries now.

I think you boys need to be thankful to your keeper alumina (sp), he save when Nolan was running though proved to give you boys the hope that Kolo turned into reality.

But I think a reply is last thing Arsenal wanted with all the fixtures pile up, it should be a good game at the Reebok.

Yup, fixture pile-up and injury pile-up. It is and will prove to be a true pain in the butt.

But it's on Valentine's Day, so hopefully Bolton will show us some love for once - then we'll destroy them.

...And it wasn't Conner99,

What a game. I don't think, and I'm not just saying this I have ever seen a better passing side than Arsenal. Some of our moves where breath taking. I have'nt seen that sort of play anywhere in the world. It's a shame we didn't use it as much in the second half. Bolton did well to come back at us. However Big Sam got right on my t!ts again. It was good to let our football do the talking.

Can I just say as well that the ref was top draw! He needs to be the ref when the likes of Ronaldo and Dogbreath are playing. They'll be booked ever week!!!

We should have fininshed the game before they came back at us. I think Wenger now has a squad it's going to be hard to pick each week.

Great result.

well it was true our passing in the first half was a delight to watch and Bolton just could not get the ball enough to trouble us until just before half time . It was a magical build up to our first goal ...Helbb a great nutmeg , Denilson a sublime flick and then Rosicky through to Adebayor ...yes we had a lucky deflection but thats football . We were the ones showing the muscle this time and Bolton had no answer to our power , passing and precision play . I`ll give them credit though , they never gave up and played much better in the second half and came close on a few occasions , we really should have wrapped it up though well before they got their last gasp equaliser . The penalty miss by Gilberto was shocking ...it was a penalty too ...and just as shocking was the miss by Adebayor ...3-0 that would have been and game truly over for Bolton . I just could not believe it when they scored with a miute to go ...unbelievable !! Well i didnt think Ljungberg was playing well , but he was there when needed and scored a lovely goal ..laid on by Alliadiere who caused major problems for Bolton when he came on ...Hlebb and Rosicky were also superb and Clichy was a major pain with his speed down the left ... the penalty miss by Baptista was just as bad as Gilberto ...oh how can i forget Adebayor who was my man of the match , he deserved his second goal in the final seconds ..a simple tap in , now 3-1 maybe harsh on Bolton but that was the score folks ...amazing performance and shows once and for all we can play without Thierry Henry .

And i agree about the referee who had an almost perfect game in my opinion .

Well what a typical F.A Cup style crazeeee game!?

Absolutely nuts. Adebayor missing open nets, Baptista & Gilberto missing penalties, Bolton scrambling in a last minute equaliser and Freddie coming on to do the damage!

Who'd have thought it?

Firstly, much credit to the Referee who was absolutely excellent.

No need to talk much about the performance, Bolton are our bogey team & they troubled us a lot in the latter stages but we did really well to win.

Denílson was my Man of the Match and credit to Aliadičre who changed the game & was absolutely class when coming on. Running half the pitch, skinning 4/5 Bolton players & slicing the Defence apart with a perfect ball for Freddie to tuck away.

I told yis he was a good player. Smile

My Observations.
First off i want to congratulate Bolton for actually playing football last night,it takes a brave team to play Arsenal in pure football and not the cavedweller antics.

The score line should have been 10-2,7-2 at least.4 clear cut chances adeabyor post,Baptista's howler and the 2 penalties.rope in two outrageous off-side calls on Adebayor when he was clear at goal and Baptista deciding to pass to adebayor with a man all over him and not The Incredible Hleb who was wide open on the right.
Baptista should have given that ball to Hleb on principal alone,as it was the workhorse belarus who stole the ball and sparked that whole attack.

Let me something right now a year before Arsenal were even interested in Hleb a ccalled a mate andtold him that there this geezeer who play's for stuttgart who would fit right into Arsenals style. But not even my genius knew how inportaant he would be to the Gunners. He is the one player on that team right now that i
believe is the don.The first 20 minutes of Arsenal's play inthis tie was the best iv'e seen.Hleb is sick.To do what he was doing with the ball against a tough team like Bolton was incredible.I think there is no doubt in anyones eye's who watches Arsenal after a game like this that Hleb set's the tone. Rosicky is not the same player when Hleb is off the pitch.
I will say something contreversal in hoping it's not true ,but i believe Hleb cannot play with Henry.I believe Henry see's how much more of an effect Hleb has over the game than himself and is threatened.Hleb is not only setting off the more dangerous attacks,he also steals the ball more than any striker i have seen in recent times. To say he is the find of the season is an understatement.

Baptista was a complete and utter Donkey. How a guy can play like he did against Liverpool andthen do a total 360 and play one of the worts performances of any player in recent memory without being subbed.Arsen Wenger is a genuis make no mistake, but Baptista still being on the field at the 60th minute was bizarre.
Clichy was fantastic,Toure was back to his best form also.Baptista though took the wind out of Arsenal's game by his disaster of a performance.Anelka must incredibly frustrated by the lack of service.Even with the aged Okocha andthe underrated Nakata he would have twice as many goals and the game could have been even more exciting ,if that is possible.
