I obviously voted for my country even though we are not going to win it.
If I was to vote on my favourite team to win - I'm torn between Sweden and Finland
But who I think will win is either USA or Germany so I'll vote later, after I make up my mind |

I voted USA, like in the four nations, for the same reasons! I can't really see a team beating them, Sweden or Germany may be close but USA would edge it every time IMO.
As for the groups USA to win theirs and Germany to win theirs. USA to win the whole thing |
I'd vote for my country to win it, but they're not even in it
So I vote for USA - never get it right |

Sweden or Usa
it would be fun for Hanna after what Happened last year |

I think everyone knows what team I voted for
It'll probably be the big two in the final |

Group C has been added and now the schedule looks as follows
(this doesn't change anything in our poll as Group C will fight for 9-12 places): Group C: Portugal Mexico Republic of Ireland Wales March 7th Group A - Germany v Norway, France v Denmark Group B - USA v China, Sweden v Finland Group C - Republic of Ireland v Mexico, Portugal v Wales March 9th Group A - Norway v Denmark, France v Germany Group B - Finland v USA, Sweden v China Group C - Portugal v Republic of Ireland, Mexico v Wales March 12th Group A - Denmark v Germany, Norway v France Group B - USA v Sweden, Finland v China Group C - Portugal v Mexico, Republic of Ireland v Wales March 14th Play-0ff Finals. |

Well, not that it change anything but the winners of Group C is actually playing for 7th against the last team from Group A and the runner up is playing the last team from Group B for the 9th. |

That's a very complicated tourney
Mexico wont be playing the Algarve surely?!
They have play-off matches aginst Japan on the 10th (Japan) and 17th (Mexico) So group C set to change link |
I don't see a problem :
07/03 ireland mexico 09/03 mexico wales fly to tokyo 10/03 japan mexico fly to faro 12/03 portugal mexico 14/03 play off final fly to mexico 17/03 mexico japan No problem with the flight connexion as well. |
I'm sure they'll arrange something
Those games v Japan can be played before or after the Algarve tourney |
Theres a lot of games for Mexico if they were to do both, my guess they'll withdraw from the Algarve - not a big deal they are in group C afterall
They also have a U17 version of the tournament from the 15th to the 20th of Feb

FIFA Women's World Cup contenders Norway
will travel to next month's Algarve Cup without midfielder Unni Lehn after she was left out of an international squad for the first time in eight years Norway coach Bjarne Berntsen has decided to give young players including the uncapped forward Lene Mykjåland a chance to ensure competition for places ahead of September's World Cup in China. "This has been the plan all along," says Berntsen, whose team meet Germany, Denmark and France in the group stage from 7-11 March in Portugal. However, the 29-year-old Lehn was disappointed. "I am surprised," said the SK Trondheims/Ørn player. "My form has been good in recent weeks." =========================== How can one dump such a talented player out of their team? I understand giving youngsters a chance is important but experience is needed as well. Unni Lehn has been in the Norway squad for ages, for a reason, and she needs preparation for the World Cup too. Or maybe he's not planning to take her to China either? Weird decision... =========================== SWEDEN's squad for Algarve: Goalkeepers Caroline Jönsson - Malmö FF DFF Sofia Lundgren - AIK Carola Söberg - Umeå IK Defenders Hanna Marklund - Sunnanå SK Anna Paulson - Umeå IK Charlotte Rohlin - Linköpings FC Stina Segerström - KIF/Örebro DFF Marlene Sjöberg - Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC Sara Thunebro - Djurgården/Älvsjö Karolina Westberg - Umeå IK Midfielders Frida Östberg - Linköpings FC Nilla Fischer - Malmö FF DFF Frida Nordin - Malmö FF DFF Salina Olsson - Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC Caroline Seger - Linköpings FC Therese Sjögran - Malmö FF DFF Forwards Josefine Öqvist - Linköping FC Maria Aronsson - Linköpings FC Therese Lundin - Malmö FF DFF Lotta Schelin - Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC Victoria Svensson - Djurgården/Älvsjö Only two midfielders from LFC, I hope Smoggie won't have a heart-attack |

Well there are still 5 LFC players in there, plus I figure it like this in me head: Larsson and Lindahl who are injured would get in there too if fit, so that would make 7, plus Karlsson = 8.... Chuffed for Charlotte Rohlin though, been great for LFC and deserves her call up - get her first cap too |
