Nice piccies, shame about the track and field area around the pitch.
It puts the supporters farther away from the players.

No mate, I have been to a Djurgarden game.
Not the one vs Arsenal and I said Djurgarden sucked that day
(the day I went to see them play). Back to UIK though please Wink

Apparently I did get the stands wrong
- the blue & yellow one is The Eastern
and the one I was closer to is The New Stand.
At least according to an UIK fan on their forum Wink

Yes it had to be started, shush you! Twisted Evil

Of course everyone's allowed to walk all over the hall of fame
- you can compare Ljungberg's boot print to yours for example
and giggle at the thought that she probably buys her shoes in a kids shop Laughing Wink

Ma Xiaoxu has arrived in Umeċ Cool

Defender Karolina Westberg
thinks UIK are good at taking care of new players.
- We hang out a lot together,
but some of us come from out of town.
- Are you doing something special to welcome new players?
- We have a ritual... but that will have to wait a little,
until she knows a little Swedish.
- Will she get to sing?
- Yes, hahaha.

Thanks Agent W. for helping with translation Wink

Lise Klaveness in her mini-blog on UIK's site
said she went to a hockey match recently,
for the first time in her life,
and she was shocked that someone can actually score
on a goal that is smaller then her washing machine
and a goalie bigger than her living room Laughing

Also, when June Pedersen tried to introduced herself to Ma Xiaoxu, in Chinese,
Ma looked frightened due to June's big lips movement Laughing

Hahahahaha funny girl Lise! Laughing

Was that field hockey or ice hockey?
Or do they just play both at the same time in Umeċ Laughing

I don't know if it was in Umeċ - she just went to see a game with her mates Smile
And I'm not sure what kind of hockey it was
(she writes in half-Swedish, half-Norwegian)
I'm guessing ice hockey concidering the weather in Scandinavia
at this time of year
- what difference does it make anyway?

Ice-hockey share the top spot as Sweden national sport (with football of course) and most scandinavians have never heard about any other kind of hockey. So guess which it was? Wink

The Ice Hockey equivalent of El Classico: IF Björklöven vs Skellefteċ AIK at SkyCom Arena.
Umeċ vs Skellefteċ (where Sunnanċ come from). Countless penalties. fights you name it. Both teams usually play second tier hockey, but this last season Skellefteċ played in the first league, the Elitserien. Skellefteċ thus officially being a whole class better made their encounter in the end of season playoffs even more heated.
