Coaching wages...

Hi guys and girls I have never had a full time coaching job.. but been accepted onto the UEFA B course to enable me to take up a full time position in the future and to progress from there as a career (well thats the plan anyway!! lol)

What i would like to know is basic wages for full time coaching. I obviously appreciate this is dependent on level of club, what sort of position you are taking up, etc etc but was hopin I could get an idea at what im looking at -

no takers? i appreciate its a sensitive subject but some ideas would be great. i managed to find some info that said community coaches full time can earn between 16-24k. is this correct??

To be honest you have answered your own question!

It really is entirely dependant on a anumber of things, experiences, qualifications etc of course being high on this list. Also, someone can be "full time" yet work less hours than someone else that is "full time" and the difference between a Level 1 to Level 2's basic wage per hour varies greatly, and again for UEFA "B". Being a Level 2 you shouldn't really have too much trouble getting a job, being UEFA "B" can virtually guarentee a job. And remember, makes you capable of working with Centre Of Excellence players. So the opportunities are completely there.

Im interested in this as well, but am totally unsure of what they actually pay.
In terms of full time coaches, there reall is very,very few of these around.

Id suggest that paid coaches for evening/weekend work will get between £10 - £14 p hour, with the drawback being only 2 or 3 hours work at a time. I used to work in a company called Enjoyaball, got paid £10phour coaching and £30 per party(90 minutes). Sounds great but 4 hours and a party a fortnight doesn't do much for ya.

The coachs I know who do it full time have to sort of freelance themselves, one has his own company and is hired to do Level 2 tutoring and sometimes schools/clubs buy him in. I doubt its a lot of money though.

UEFA 'B' qualified coaches can demand £15p/hour but please bear in mind nobody really coaches 9-5 in the coaching world.

Only a few hours each day in reality, so subsidising it with another income is always useful!
