Anyone want to say how this one might go?

Coppell against his old club.

Looking at the betting, a draw looks great value at 9/2.

What looks even better is Gary Neville to score. 50/1 for 1st or last and about 12/1 for anytime scorer. Fantastic price. Any gamblers out there?

My bet almost came off after he almost scored for England.

A big test for on-form Reading.

Will be interesting to see the lineups of each side. Mister C has always used the cup, this season more than ever, as an opportunity to give 1st team players a well arned breather and to assess players that are on the fringes of the first team or who are coming back from injury. Kevin Doyle who has been out for the last few weeks and is expected to feature along with, in my opinion new boys Duberry and Halford. May also be another chance for Seol to actually show he has ability and passion, instead of just idleness

After Reading (books, info on website reading type stuff, not the team) about the squad changes that Coppell is making, you'd naturally think that they'll get pasted.
No doubt Man Utd will put the youngsters in too.

It'd be nice tio see Dubes stick em up as an old Leeds boy.

Reading have no chance. Just like they had no chance of avoiding relegation this season!

I wonder what the betting is on manager of the year....

Not sure on the odds but I know Coppell is second favourite behind fergie.

About the match, I'll be pleased with a draw taking them back to our place.
But I think we can cause them some problems, Kevin Doyle returns for the first time in a month so I expect him to feature in some form or another. We've not been disgraced by any means against United this year so I expect a good match.

Just realised Halford and Duberry are both cup tied. Shame really.

I'll have to see how the line ups are set here. I hope Fergie doesn't blunt our attack in the name of rotation.

Nigel Pearson has been kicking up a storm on talksport saying 'who do Reading think they are, telling us they have two squads'. What a wan*er. The fact is i think no matter who the opposition Coppell wants to see if he has these players on the first team fringes that can actually compete at premiership level and if not he needs to start to think about replacing them. And its funny how we have gone from fielding weakened sides in every round of the League and F.A Cup and has gone relatively unnoticed. I maybe would have liked to see Coppell go for this game a bit more but the man is a legend and i trust his dEcision to be in the best interests of Reading F.C 100%.

2-0 to United for my money here. Concerned about Silvestre in there, he and Vidic haven't played together much.

Just keep writing us off and we'll keep proving you wrong.

Our "2nd" string force a replay at Old Trafford. Eat your words Nigel Pearson.

Absolutely chuffed. To go to Old Trafford and put out the team we did and still come away with a replay is a tremendous achievement. United had enough chance to kill off the game but fantastic performances from Federici (who i firmly expect to challenge for a first team spot next season in goal), Bikey and De La Cruz. What a header from Gunnarson!!!! Only down side of the game came from John Oster and Nicky Shorey. Oster plays fantastically well for the reserves, earns his chance and then dissapoints. Shoreyhas been terriffic all season but seem to lack confidence in himself. This result just shows what a strong team spirit we have not just in our first team but throughout the squad. Viva la Coppell!!!

Utd should of won this game with all the chances they had , a replay we really don't need. Why Fergie took off Solskjaer and not Saha is beyond me , he's spends so much time on his arse it's unbelievable. Credit to Reading totally deserved the draw.

Poor performance again in the FA Cup, we still deserved to win I thought but we really were poor. Saha was terrible, he did nothing and every time he got the ball he just put his head down and went for goal, if he wasnt so greedy we would have scored at the end.

Ent it about time you got that Arsenal kit Forever? Not only have we taken a point off you in the league, which was the original bet by the way, we have now forced you in to a replay in the cup at your place.
Maybe you should do what they did on SoccerAM, you can stand in the middle of wherever you're from, with an Arsenal kit on, or a Reading kit, shouting about how you lost a bet and that Reading are almost as good as Man United Smile
I still have the original quote so don't try and deny all knowledge of this bet, if only they still had sigs on this forum.
