Chelsea v Arsenal
Sunday 25th February 2007

Well, the final is only a few days away but it's not really illustrious is it? Nobody actually cares and there is no big deal about who wins or loses.

I'm glad that Wenger is going to stick with the younger Guns and I know that they'll give Chelsea a good game. I'll have a guess at the starting line-up here:

----------Almunia
Hoyte, Touré, Djourou, Traoré
Walcott, Cesc, Denílson, Diaby
------Baptista, Aliadičre

Adebayor could start & so could Senderos, I'm not totally sure. But with Denílson & Diaby playing alongside Cesc we'll have Aliadičre or Baptista sinking into Midfield or wide left to bulk up the Midfield & break down Chelsea.

The backline should cope well & Clichy has shown great form lately whilst Touré has been making less mistakes - we could prove hard to beat and I feel that we have the skill & pace to break through Chelsea.

Either way it'll be an interesting game & I'm looking forward to it. Smile

I think Chelsea will edge it unfortunately though. I have to be realistic, but it won't be easy for them whatsoever. I say a 2-1 win to Chelsea after extra-time.

Agreed, I think Chelsea will win this.

Howvever the team may look a little little this way...

----------Almunia
Hoyte, Touré, Djourou, Clichy
Rosicky, Cesc, Denílson, Diaby
------Adebayor, Aliadičre

I so hope he does'nt play Senderos. Dogbreath always has a good game against him. Where as Djourou might be able to handle him better. If we play like we did against Bolton I'll be more than happy.

COME ON THE Gunners!!!!!

Adebayor could start, but if he does I think Baptista will start ahead of Aliadičre.

And Clichy is facing fitness tests, so is a doubt to play PLUS Clichy openly said on Arsenal.com that he thinks Traoré should start - and I agree.

Either way, they'll all step up to the mark as they have done throughout that tournmanent.

I don't really care who wins, whoever it is, it will be the only trophy they will lift this season. Would be good to see either win it, so I could take the pish out of them only winning the mickey mouse cup as they've put it so many times.

How can you do that if they only put a reserve team out?

And Chelsea must take it seriously if they rushed Terry back.

They need him to keep their defence solid - so they must be keen to win Wink

thank god we didnt disqualify ourselves from a 'mickey mouse' cup competition to go play a meaningless game in asia,Man Utd sigle handedly de-valued the FA cup forever more with that behavior,i wish Man U fans would remember that before they take the p**s out of domestic cup competitions.

Arsenal 3 Chelsea 1 Wink

Just switched over to see the end after the final whistle in the Spurs game.

Just in time to see the worst losers ever Arsenal prove once again why noone else likes them.

Didnt see what Adebayor did to get a red but that little [beep!] Fabregas derserved one for sure, more so than Toure too.

Well done Chelsea, and I hope John Terry isnt seriously hurt.

Arsenal yet again can't be beaten gracefully. It's a shame as their youngsters made Chelsea look a second rate team at times.
