Poor selections were the key to it Aliadière having a good game against us. He'll be gone in the summer anyway... |

Everyone said he was going in January. Wenger said he wants to keep him.
And Aliadière destroyed Liverpool. With many of your star players on the pitch & some recent Champions League winners. Including Stevie Wonderboy. |

Whatever. Diaby got the man before he got the ball. Doesn't matter about angles, Diaby's intent, standing man's height or any of the rest of it. If you get the man before the ball, it is a foul. Hence, the referee would have totally been within his rights to give the penalty. |

If that's your opinion, then fine.
But he didn't give it so it wasn't & never will be a penalty. |

And Tez, according to the BBC Aliadière got a better player rating than Terry, Bridge, Makélélé, Lampard, Ballack, Shevchenko, Mikel, Kalou, Eboué, Adebayor, Hleb, Senderos, Touré, Hoyte and Almunia.

I don't think it was a pen.Diaby is a good pro from what ive seen of him. JT just threw himself at the ball and Diaby tried to clear it. Never a pen in my eyes. Good to see some Arsenal players looking concerned thought that was good of them.
The Scary thing is i no Terry would do it again he's that sort of player. Thats why he is so respected. Fabregas though came out of the game looking bad along with Eboue. Eboue is a dirty player he is like an outfield Jen Lehman. But i feel sorry for Diaby. Thought he played really well |

The only one im surprised about there is Lampard, The others were pretty poor, came off the bench or went off. Senderos must have got the lowest rating? He couldnt handle Drogba. |

axe man i am suprised at you.
you are saying aliadiere played well because the BBC says so? he was poor and there is no escaping that. gave the ball away all too often and never looked the slightest bit dangerous when attacking. and the terry incident wasnt a foul and backing that up with the fact a penalty was not given? come on how reliable is that? the ref didnt give it so its not a penalty? oh right because the refs always get decisions spot on dont they. i think it could have gone either way. had that incident occured in the carling cup third round against someone like wigan the penalty probably would have been given and im sure different refs would have different views on it. nobody has mentioned it in the media because the game has been won by Chelsea so it does not matter. do you think mourinho would not mention it if they lost? of course not but they won so the primary concern is terry himself. he is ok, they won the game so why blight the victory by unneccesarily moaning about the ref? on a seperate note i would be ashamed of myself if i was wayne bridge. what a complete and utter embarrassing little tart he is. |

He got thumped, then realised he had been thumped, looked around and then went down and stayed down. |

went down ilke a sack of sh*t from what has to be one of the most feeble punches ever seen. didnt even connect properly and skimmed his head! there was a mass brawl and instead of helping his team mates he is laying on the floor like a b*tch

Go.. tell me, where did I say this? I didn't watch the game yesterday - I've already stated this. And nowhere have I said that Aliadière played well. The BBC didn't say anything about him, they just rated him higher than all those players so he must have done something. I think he's a good player & doesn't deserve to be slated for a single performance against such a strong Chelsea team. |

Steely Still getting punched is quite outtagious behaviour from a pro, I would say if sum1 got punched on the footie field then maybe they are intitled to go down.

J-Axe, you didn't watch your team in a cup final?
|
||||||||
|
|
|||||||||
|
I spent most of the weekend in the hospital.
I haven't missed a game this season bar 2 Premiership games due to being away. And that's including all Carling Cup games. Whilst I've watched about three quarters of the Reserves games. Where the likes of Walcott, Adebayor & Aliadière have been destroying teams. Except when we met Reading. Trust me. I was depressed being not able to watch the Cup final. |

J-Axe prob best you didn't watch it or you may have been disgusted in your team

some people cant - as an Arsenal fan i was quite lucky due to the fact i was supposed to be working 14:30-22:00 and would have missed it, but one of the kids i look after wanted to go the pub and watch it so i was able to see it. Some people dont have the chance to drop everything for a football match - there are other things in life
