Can arsenal win champions league?

Well as a Liverpool fan i would like to say that it was apleasure seeing the Arsenal v juventus match,Arsenal were superb and i think they will do what we did last year good luck Arsenal.

Arsenal will not win the Champions League because they dont have the backbone in their side! the lack of british and english players is an absolute disgrace there is no other team like it if i was a decent gooner i would be totally embarressed by my sides unpatriotism, the fact that the fans have not caused an uprising about the situation says alot about the people you lot are, i think you should rename your club "the world 11"

well apparently the key is not to use english players since the world cup proved that england has sucky players

Arsenal fans(best in england)are not david dein or arsene wenger so we have no control over foreign signings,once the player puts an Arsenal shirt on hes one of us wherever he comes from.
i take your point thogh,i would love more top english players in our side but chelski are the only club who can afford to buy them.

I was gutted against Barca when they went down to ten, mainly because unlike Arsenal they stopped playing their game and sat back for virtually all of the match. Even then they could have won it against as Barca were very average. I think they have learnt a lot since then and on their day, no one can stay with them. LFC, ManU and even Chelski learnt that. So yes, I think that they will win it this year, they are too good not to.
Plus, just a minor point, there are a few English players at Arsenal coming through, but hand on heart, if you look around, which English players playing in the Premiership would be technically good enough and have the flexibility to get into the squad? Not many. Sadly England has never produced an Henry, Torre, Fabrigas or Bergkamp. I wouldn't have minded Hargreaves, just as an experiment, but again English players have always been way too expensive.
Well, that's my two penneth...Spurs fans feel free to shoot it down.

I dont know about the rest of you but I personally feel were playing better this year, PSV wont be easy at all but it could have been a lot lot lot worse lol, I honestly think this will be the year, With rosicky fitting in so well and thierry really wanting to prove it was the right choice to stay!
