i think zokora lost the game for Spurs though - two decent chances and he missed them both

Zokora had an amazing game in midfield, bossed the park. You have no clue.

Mido is fat and lazy, he doesnt have the professionalism to keep himself fit when not playing regularly, it showed spectacularly today.

Defoe's free header at the far post when we were 1-3 up should have been the winner, he needed to bury it not lay it off for Berbie. And I think thats being generous assuming he was trying to do that.

mido shouldn't be in the Spurs squad - should have left berbatov on

zokora missed 2 simple goals and that f/k at the end was a waste of time - he hardly had a shot. Yes he defended well but when you're a mid you've got to do both - and he didn't today.

Defoe had a good game, but pulling Lennon off was a bad idea. Lennon has all the pace and would of latched on to any of Berbatov's crosses. Defoe and Mido didn't work together.

I think you have a very simplistic view of football mate, Zokora was a part of everything going forward today, his control and pressure in the middle of the park set the tone for our go forward play.

He missed two chances? Whip de doo, I didnt see any easy ones he missed at all, footballers miss chances all day long mate. Ball greedy Defoe was the worse culprit in these stakes.

Good point - Defoe needed to pass it more

Aye, like last week when we got the winner against Wham, we had 4 people against 1 or 2 defenders and Defoe goes all the way himself and shoots, just damn lucky Green rolled it out for Salty to score.

Same story again today, his last shot when marked by three players was horrible, Steed had made an amazing run to be on the outside in acres of space.

Sayign that, his shot against the bar was genius, would have been amazing if it went in.

he is a striker though. a goal scorer. if he sees a chance he will shoot. regardless of others. similar to someone like owen who would do exactly the same

Spur has let another golden opportunity go, just like they did against Arsenal in the carling cup.

How are you going to give up a 3-1 lead is beyond me, ok the Watford game is coming up, but you have the chance to beat Chelsea at home, this has not been done for 3 years under jose, and you go and take of you main attacking threat.

I can understand taking berbatov off, but Lennon as well come on now. Jol subs haven’t really been coming of in the cups.

Zakora what the hell he is doing two gilt edge chance squandered, wasted free kick in the last 30 seconds.

Defoe need to look up more and pass, when he was got through a simple cut across and that’s number 4 game set and match.

I don’t think Spurs will be going to the next round now. They may have a chance with keane but very slim in humble opinion.

However it was a very entertaining game.

Bit harsh, as I recall Mido scoring the equaliser at the Emirates after coming on, and he nearly hit the winner.

But totally right about the Berbatov and Lennon substitutions. WHY???!!! Taking off your best attacking players only gives the signal for them to attack us, knowing that we're weaker up front. Sure, Defoe went very close at the end, but I'd have been saying the same thing regardless if he scored or not. I don't know why teams do that. We looked just as, if not more, likely to score as them when it ws 3-1. I never thought we wouldn't win when they were on the pitch, they caused so many problems and we looked very effective on the counter as they needed two goals.

Massive opportunity wasted. Shame. Credit our boys though for giving them a run for their money. Great game.

Yep unfortunately Keane is out so it will have to be Berbie and Defoe with Mido on the bench. Although I am not fussed about Robbo being out because he has had a really poor season and it is up to Cerny to have the game of his life today!

Can't believe i'm gonna miss this game because i have a 2.00pm kick-off!

COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You missed nothing, Wink lol

What a great day for sport m8 on TV or outdoors, it was lovely maan. I think I missed out not enjoying the good weather but then that's my problem. Working nightshift, last night and tonight, made it a bit too much work for sport when I should be sleepin but TV was ok.

Jol really did blow it today. The lads played a blinder, Cerny couldn't do anything for any of the goals. None of the players are to blame, it was Jol's subs that lost us the result of the season.

Well you certainly get your entertainment value watching Spurs dont you? Laughing

I sure did. After the exciting performance against West Ham, I think it is worth watching Spurs. Lennon is a hot prospect. He ain't no Messi, but if he keeps this up he will be along the best youngsters. And he is not selfish.

Laughing at Afrinux, you crack me up every time.

Don't you think that Mourinho has not done a great job? Eventhough Drogba was hurt, he did not take him out. And Drogba was involved in those 2 goals.

On that score, Yes but please don't be someone who want's JOL out because that is not the answer. The answer is, there is no answer. You just hope that Gardener will be more like King. You just wish Zokora had passed to Malbraque or Mido had headed the goal kick onto Defoe for a 3rd time.

It's no one person's fault. We saw a cracking game. Spurs have won over many neutrals after this and a few of the previous games. Our goal tally has doubled in just three major games. This was a full strength Chelsea side. They didn't beat us. A draw is great.

I'll be there on Monday week, ticket availability permitting. Cool

ballack sets up 2, if you dont mind.
Seriously though, again we fought back, at half time i knew we had it in us. So many times we have done it this year, ive lost count of how many times we've come back to draw or win, Drogbas crazy winner, Robben's winner, so mny late equalizers. Against Wigan, and others, always find a way.
Still alive for the quaddy. 1 cup in the bag, 3 to go.
