so its gonna be a Chelsea v Man Utd final then ...... Laughing

well you dont expect Tottenham or Middlesborough to beat the above in the replays do you , and Blackburn and Watford are not exactly top class teams are they .

Yes i know Blackburn beat Arsenal but it was a one off result won with a wonder goal .. Wink

The referee's will guarantee a Chelsea v Man U final at Wembley. The FA wouldnt have it any other way.

Haha Steely, yea really is inevitable after we already beat them at the Lane this season and after the result the other day.

We have a chance yes, and a cup final would be great but I aint getting my hopes up. I think we had our chance the other day and we blew it.

Oh well, am much more excited about the UEFA Cup anyway, this is the competition we need to be focusing our attentions on!

FA Cup for sure, Spurs have a very proud history with that Cup. But I think we got more chance of winning the UEFA Cup so that is what we should focus on at the moment and also our league position so we make sure we are in it next year.

I after the Watford game I was telling my brother i bet you the FA will fix it so that the top play in the final if the get through, and haven behold what do we have a possible final between the two biggest sides in the prem to christen the new Wembley stadium.

Lets see if it pans out like that, you what they say well laid plans and all that.

Yes bar the Arsenal V Liverpool game it is suspicous how the top sides kep avoiding each other in the latter rounds. It would be great to have a modern Cup final that did not involve a top 4 side

Very Happy That was my face when I seen the draw. Easiest route is always nice but the final will be hard, Tottenham are a difficult team.

For the sake of a high quality final it's a good draw. I hate to see the Semi-final being the final if you know what I mean, like when United last won the FA cup when they played Aresenal in the Semi-final.

BJ, are you sure you'd rather Spurs win the FA Cup over the UEFA Cup?

We've won the FA Cup many many times in our history, but surely to win the UEFA Cup would be extra special:

a) because we'd be the joint most successful team in the history of the competition, with regard to tournament wins (3)

b) because it is more internationally renowned. I think it is more special to beat teams from all over the continent than just over here as you face different styles, hence it is more challenging. And obviously, it is a higher quality overall.

UEFA cup over FA cup any day for me...

It wasn't a fix, there was only a possibility of 4 different matches. It's hardly miraculous that this was the one churned out.

Yea im sure, but id be delighted with either. A Chelsea v Man U final would also mean another league position goes into the UEFA Cup which is a bonus for us although I think we will pip Bolton to 5th now.

Qualifying for the UEFA Cup again next year is a absolute must! IT is essential to the future of the club. It will let us attract the next Berbies, and Zokora's
