Should Roeder remain? Who could we bring in to replace him?

I don't doubt his commitment or love for the club, but I doubt his tactical ability, and transfer spending ability...

We need an O'Neill or a dare I say Mourinho...If he leaves Chelsea we should sign him as manager! Great tactically very respected! Also Ottmar Hitzfeld is class!

well said, I don't hate roeder and im sure he could keep us in the top half but arent we better than that? we should be challenging for europe with our line up and following! We need a tactical master who will rebuild our defence and restore confidence. for too long the club has been left in the hands of second rate managers eg,souness, dalglish, gullit, roeder....its all very well splashing out on players like Owen but if you don't have the right man at the helm its like letting a toddler drive a ferrari!

We need to do something. I don't know if another manager will do wonders or is it that we just need some new players or something. We could do with another defender.
